PART FOUR: CALENDAR

We have streamlined the calendar to be both user-friendly and concise. Here are the first 3 important dates to add to your calendar!

We are thrilled to welcome the Whole Community on August 27th for our Family BBQ from 4-6pm. This will be the time for connections to be made and for us to start building relationships that will grow throughout the school year. It will be a relaxed and informal introduction to the new school year. We will have music and our pool will be open during this time for the children to enjoy! This event is a potluck; if your last name begins with letters A-M please bring a salad or appetizer, N-Z dessert. We will supply the hot dogs, veggie burgers, burgers and drinks. Please remember not to use any nut products in your potluck dishes. It is always helpful to our families if you are able to label ingredients for those who may have allergy or dietary needs. This event is one not to be missed! All are welcome and remember you children’s bathing suits!

Tuesday, September 2 is our first day of school for kindergarten through grade 5 students and preschool students who are scheduled on Tuesdays. Preschool starts at 9:00am and dismissal is at 1:00pm (for half day students) or 3:00pm (for full day students). Elementary starts at 8:00am and dismisses at 3:00pm.

Enrichment morning is available starting at 7:30am and afternoon enrichment is from 3-5pm. Every Wednesday elementary school students will have the option to leave at 2pm for an early release. We will be having Professional Development for our staff during this time. If you are unable to pick up your child at 2pm, they are welcome to join our enrichment program until 3pm.

Open House will take place on Tuesday, September 9 from 5-6:30pm. This will be an opportunity to hear about curriculum, expectations, and goals for the year from your child’s classroom teacher. Dr. Jeff will address the whole community at 5 and then parents and children will spend time in their classrooms. Children are invited (and encouraged) to attend. This is not a parent/teacher conference time, should you need time to discuss specific aspects of your child’s education one-on-one with his/her teacher, please make a separate appointment.
