What is it like to work at Laurel?
"Being a part of the Laurel School and Day Camp is one of the greatest positions I have ever had. The environment is always welcoming and positive whether it is an ordinary September day or a hot afternoon in July. The people who work at the Laurel School are constantly going above and beyond to make it the best possible place for all children or campers attending. The students attending school and camp are truly courageous with everything they strive to accomplish. I am proud to say that the Laurel School is by far one of the most wonderful and uplifting places I have ever worked at. I am so lucky to be a part of this school each and every year. " - Samantha Gage, Swim Instructor, LDC
"Working at and for the Laurel community has been the greatest privilege of my life. Starting each day with Courtney, Amy, and Tara-Lynn is not only motivating but immeasurably enriching and inspiring. Their smiling faces and intuitive caring abilities help foster and nurture both faculty and students alike. Through the halls of Laurel, their mindset and positivity is echoed by all; infant to early elementary, and the Laurel community blooms with a smile and a song every morning. From the care each educator provides to their students to the simple “Hey! Can I get you anything?” shared as staff pass one another in the hallways shows just how communal and group driven Laurel is. It is at the core of Laurel’s mission statement to provide a safe, accepting, and diverse community for students and faculty alike to thrive in, learn, grown, and most importantly, have fun. The Laurel School and Laurel Day Camp are incredible areas to nurture, enrich, inspire, and provide to your child not only an incomparable educational experience; but a human experience. At Laurel, everyone is heard and everyone is loved; from the office, through the teachers, and into the students’ hearts and minds. " - Cody J. Pimental , Assistant Director of Laurel Day Camp
